PREFACE :
"Welcome ! I'm pleased to introduce Neopagan.com, which is mainly based on my own thoughts and will reflect my personal vision.
Neopagan.com is dedicated to the Neopagan movement that in my opinion is not just a container for all the Pagan religions already established but has a potential for a distinct credo.
Consequently I would like to suggest and provide a unique doctrinal system that will better define the term neopagan as a definite path. A definite path doesn't mean a formulaic or step-by-step series of rituals, but instead it is a vision that will direct your spiritual evolution in a precise direction.
In practical words this implies that you can reach the goal to re-connect yourself with God through different practices ( Wicca, Buddhism, Thelema etc .. ), but the structure of this return to God through the descent and ascent of the Soul, will be a common denominator for Neopaganism.
Surely among Pagans the concept of God can vary, for my part I intend this God to be the original center of Power, whether intended as natural, supernatural, transcendental or even nonexistent from a human perspective.
Then no matter how we can perceive or consider this God, the voyage of the Soul from the originator God or principle of creation through the descent in the matter will be the same for all of us ! ( Go to the Schema for the representation of the Soul voyage or Soul flight. )

Often people asked me about my involvement in Neopaganism and what kind of knowledge I have at this regard : parallel to my musical training I studied ancient philosophy and Paganism since my youth, with a special focus on Hermetism, Occultism, Alchemy and Theurgical Magick.
Regarding ancient Paganism I'm deeply indebted to the Greek-Roman philosophers, especially the NeoPlatonists like Plotinus, Iamblichus, Proclus ( Plato obviously included... ) and among others the ancient Italians Pythagoras, Parmenides, Empedocles and the Roman Seneca.
A special respect goes to the Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten ( 1300 BC ) with his revolutionary Cult of Aton, the first documented Pagan monotheist visionary of the World that I'm aware of !
Since those men were so powerfully influential and determinant for having shaped Western civilization and the major contemporary religions of the World as they are today, seems to me logical that is about time to celebrate those "superior" visions of the Universe !
Those enlightened men created a system of knowledge that can be applied to every aspect of our life, transcending barriers and blind separatism.

Consequently we can say that Paganism and NeoPaganism, in its most pure essence is a monotheist belief, with a polytheist approach in its
devotional and ritual practices. Monotheist implies a belief in One supreme entity or God, whether be seen from as a divine entity or a natural first principle.
Following this One-God are His emanations, the cosmic energies called the Gods, which brings up the concept of polytheism...
Polytheism that becomes a path to approach the divine through the Gods theurgical rites : this is all about the Paganism of Wicca, Druidism,
Thelemic and so on ...
It is about time then to re-establish a right perspective in the way we look at Paganism-NeoPaganism, dismiss the usual default obtuse prejudice and persecutory
behavior : Neopaganism is not just a mere and confused pantheon of Gods or a house for crazy magickians-sorcerers, but a "living" temple of truth, science
and wisdom !
Giving to Caesar what is due to Caesar, we want to stop this obsolete approach to Paganism-NeoPaganism, realizing that contemporary religions
and our civilization were shaped through the immense knowledge of ancient Paganism !!
In my opinion, as an example, from a modern Neopagan perspective, it will be not impossible or heretical to be a fervent Christian or a Buddhist and at the

VISION :
Neopagan.com is dedicated to the new modern revolutionary path called Neopagan, believing that cyberspace can be a perfect place to blend
technology and faith through virtual rituals, spells and multimedia documents.

This site is not intended to be a library for the whole Pagan contemporary religions, but contains a peculiar unique doctrinal system that includes my own
vision and what I consider to be the best doctrines of all religions and cults from the past until today.
Whether it can be seen as a site of reference for the neopagan community, it's not intended to be a mere representation of all the Neopagan religions
of the World.
I believe that the living God left a piece of wisdom and truth in every religion, so that if hypothetically we can put together those pieces like in a gigantic
puzzle we can build an outstanding and superior doctrinal system....
A spiritual system of guidance made with the best of all world religions .... this is the goal of Neopagan.com !
We will move towards this goal whether we get approval or hostility, since the times are ready for a new approach to the unknown One-God and His
creation following the Pagan tradition..
We suggest to the fragmented Pagan community the opportunity to enter Neopaganism with Neopagan.com as a new perspective to see through ...
In particular Neopagan.com is not intended to be merely an archive of Pagan artifacts, rituals and documents, but wants to be a vibrant living reference
for the worldwide Pagan & Neopagan community and for the solitary spiritual seeker.
It will be historically accurate and its content will reflect our personal ideas and visions that may or may not be agreed with by other Neopagans or
anyone else.
Notwithstanding there are many sites around on the Pagan-Neopagan topics, we found the original message and content of the ancient Pagan
"Tradition" being mainly misunderstood and sometimes completely ignored ... by "tradition" meaning the genuine original doctrinal Pagan principles.
This lack of genuine message can mislead us to wrong conclusions, increasing confusion and spiritual failures.
We strongly feel the need to reassemble the Neopagan beliefs , re-tuning them accordingly to this ancient "tradition".
Regarding thinkers of the past, as we said, we admire among others, the Neoplatonists philosophers, like Plotinus, Iamblichus and
Proclus ...

Based on the Theurgical traditions belonging to those enlightened men, our magickal machines are ready in the temples to be used to make powerful
spells ... we have simplified the approach to Theurgical rituals in order to make it possible for more people to have a similar experience to the one of
our ancestors !

We are devoting a section of this site to the environmental issues of the Earth, at Gaia the living Planet.

As our favorite vision, Neopagan.com implies a monotheistic religion through a polytheistic approach for practical exploitation in rituals and devotional
meditations.
Meaning by monotheistic the belief in one supreme entity or God, a principle of infinite power, that can be seen as a supreme transcendental principle
and be perceived as the originator of the whole creation.

Another added eclectic value of Neopaganism relies on its flexibility of application, for example : the pantheistic vision of some of the Neopagans or the
Pagan concept of a transcendental God can apply also to an Atheist vision of a natural universe without the need for a God, especially an
anthropomorphic one. The emanations originated by this One-God center of infinite power are called the Gods or Universal energies.
Those Gods are pure energetic entities and are represented in anthropomorphic or human form for magical rituals and devotional purposes.
To simplify the Gods representation we took as models mainly the forms from the Egyptian-Roman-Greek pantheon, which doesn't mean that we dislike
other forms, since I believe that all the Gods of other traditions are representing similar powers and qualities.

As a final consideration, whether Neopaganism is intended to be a new religion on its own even including different cults under its umbrella, the real
meaning of being Neopagan today doesn't necessarily imply leaving your present belief or religion to embrace Neopaganism.
Not at all ! ... Our favorite vision is that Neopaganism can open doors for you to look at the universe in a new and unprecedented way !
